UNE’s Office of Student Affairs and the Center for Global Humanities are thrilled to be offering this exciting trip of a lifetime for our students as part of one of the University’s strategic initiatives. Under this initiative, UNE is engaging a culturally diverse and globally connected community of learners in which all students have the opportunity for international study. UNE is committed to creating and celebrating a culturally diverse student body, faculty and staff that values open communication and collaboration. Our students have access to strong programs in international study, as well as creative opportunities for distance learning and experiential education.
Spring Break 2011, 5 UNE students will be traveling within Morocco for 9 days and visiting the cosmopolitan and movie-star famous Casablanca, the whitewashed fishing port gem of Essaouira and then traveling inland to the great imperial city of Marrakech where the winding streets of their ancient medinas will have a surprise around each corner.
